What you can bring
- A paper, chapter or draftAttach it to your email so it can be read before you meet. The session then goes on what to change and how to change it.
- A process you're stuck inAn ethics application, a literature review, an analysis plan, a submission or a defence. We'll lay out the steps and decide what to do first.
- An applicationA statement of purpose, a research proposal, a CV or the email you want to send to a possible supervisor.
- A plan that has slippedWe'll look at where you really are and rebuild a timeline you can keep, with the next few weeks spelled out.
- A decision you're weighingChanging your topic, your supervisor or your program, taking a break, or what to do after you finish.
- Feeling stuck and not sure whySometimes it helps to say it out loud to someone who knows graduate school. We'll find the real problem together.
How it works
- Send an email
Say what you'd like help with, any deadline, and a few times that suit you with your time zone. Attach anything you'd like read.
- Get a reply
Ify replies within two working days with a time and how to pay, or you can pay first and get an email to arrange the time. Sessions are with Ify, or with a graduate tutor when your topic needs a specialist.
- Talk it through
You meet by video for 45 minutes, and afterwards you get written notes and your next steps.
