Questions are where audiences engage most with your work, and where many people feel most exposed. Collect the questions you expect and the ones you fear, and prepare a short answer for each. Keep adding to it. It becomes your defence preparation.
How to use it
- After each rehearsal, add every question you were asked and every question you hoped no one would ask.
- Keep the short answer to one or two sentences.
- Practise saying the short answers out loud.
