Writing Sessions

The hardest part of most writing sessions is the first ten minutes: rereading, remembering, deciding where to start. Before you stop, write exactly what you will do first next time. It makes restarting much easier.

How to use it
  • Give each session one goal.
  • Word counts are optional. Some good sessions make your draft shorter.
  • Always fill in the next starting point before you close the file.
